I have been a sworn translator for the Brussels Court of Appeal since 2023 and for the Luxembourg Higher Court of Justice since 2022. I assist both private individuals and professionals with procedures requiring official translations.
The rate is based on the number of words. The rate starts at €0.081 per word.
For a short translation (fewer than 300 words), allow for a minimum charge of €24.
More complex layout (including tables): add 10%
Each enquiry is subject to a personalised and transparent quote, drawn up upon receipt of the document to be translated.
To get an exact quote, please send me your document and specify whether it is for Belgium, Luxembourg or another country.
The deadline depends on the length and complexity of the document, as well as my availability at the time the order is placed.
Allow 24 hours for a document of up to 3 pages, and 48 hours between 4 and 8 pages. Longer documents: on request.
This deadline does not include legalisation by the Belgian authorities. Allow an additional 24 hours for this.

The quote is provided on a no-obligation basis until your order is confirmed.
50 per cent of the total amount is required to start the translation.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, Wise or Wero. Any bank charges are at your expense.
The balance is payable upon delivery of the final document, duly certified by the Belgian or Luxembourg authorities.
Depending on your needs and the requirements of the recipient authority, the translation can be submitted:
electronically, as an electronically signed PDF document;
or
by post, in paper form, where the recipient organisation requires a physical copy. (Supplement: from 5,60 €)
Belgian authorities will accept documents in PDF format, as these are electronically signed by the SPF.

A translation carried out by a sworn translator in Belgium may be intended for use in Luxembourg, but acceptance depends on the recipient Luxembourg administration or authority and the type of document.
If your document is intended for use in Luxembourg, please let me know. I will certify the document with the stamp reserved for use in Luxembourg.
For documents intended for use in another country, additional formalities such as legalisation or an apostille may sometimes be required. The Belgian or Luxembourg authorities therefore recommend checking the requirements of the recipient country and authority.
