My name is Laurent VOIRY. I have been a translator specializing in legal translation since 2017.
My background is atypical. After studying English Literature and Civilisation at La Sorbonne, which I completed in 2001, I worked in the catering industry in various luxury establishments in Switzerland until 2011. At that time, I started teaching English and German to young people and adults.
In 2015, I wished to devote myself to translation and started to work on several platforms, including Proz.com, Upwork, Translator's cafe. I passed a certificate in legal knowledge at the University of Mons, Belgium, in 2023.
